Level 4 Award in Food Safety Management for Manufacturing

Overview: This course has been designed to provide those responsible for management of a manufacturing facility with the knowledge and understanding required to effectively manage the implementation of food safety practices and procedures.

• Food storage, temperature control and preservation
• Design and construction of food premises and equipment
• Cleaning and disinfecting
• Pest control
• Personal hygiene
• Training strategies
• Legislation
• Management control techniques.

Assessment: A controlled assignment and a written examination, both completed under exam conditions after completion of the course. 60% pass mark to be achieved in both.

Duration: 5 day programme
