Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Retail Refresher

Overview:  This course has been designed to allow candidates who already hold an accredited Level 2 Award in Food Safety in retail and would benefit from refresher training to stay updated on new methods and changes in legislation.

• Cooking, Hot Holding and Reheating
• Food Handling
• Principles of Safe Food Storage
• Cleaning
• Food Premises and Equipment

Assessment: The course is assessed by a multiple choice question paper at the end of the course. The pass mark is 20 out of 30.

Duration: Self Study two to three hours, followed by two hours training session

Please note: Previous certificate of the level 2 qualification will need to be provided in order to obtain the refresher certificate. The certificate needs to be from an accredited provider.
